Summary

This study aims to understand why straining during bowel movements causes bleeding from hemorrhoids. Researchers will use a special device to test how well the rectum can push out waste. The goal is to find better treatments for people with pelvic floor muscle problems. About 100 adults who have had a colonoscopy for rectal bleeding will take part.
