Tiny cell analysis could unlock secrets of radiation lung damage

Summary
This study looks at lung cells from 5 cancer patients who developed lung inflammation (radiation pneumonitis) after chest radiation. Doctors will use a special technique called single-cell sequencing to see which cells are active and what they are doing. The goal is to better understand this serious side effect and find possible targets for future treatments.
