First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at why people with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) experience a rapid heart rate and other symptoms when standing. Researchers will test a drug called Moxonidine, which lowers nerve activity that controls heart rate, to see if it reduces symptoms. The goal is to better understand POTS and find more personalized treatments for the mostly young women affected.
