First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looks at why people with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) get a fast heart rate and feel dizzy when standing. Researchers will give a blood pressure drug called moxonidine to 48 adults with POTS to see if lowering nerve activity eases symptoms. The goal is not to cure POTS but to learn more about what causes it and find better treatments.
