First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at how preterm and full-term babies learn to ignore sounds and lights (called habituation). Researchers will compare 70 infants to see if early differences in this skill can help spot those at risk for developmental problems. The goal is to find better ways to identify babies who may need early support.
