NCT ID NCT06915051

First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at 202 healthy pregnant women to see if the number of twists in the umbilical cord is linked to the baby's heart function. Researchers used ultrasound to measure both the cord coils and heart performance. The goal was simply to understand this relationship better, not to test any treatment.
