Scientists probe link between cord twist and unborn Baby's heart
NCT ID NCT06915051
Summary
This study aimed to understand if the number of twists in the umbilical cord is connected to how well a baby's heart works before birth. Researchers looked at 202 healthy pregnant women between 20-24 weeks using ultrasound scans. They measured the cord's coiling and the baby's heart function at the same time to see if there was a relationship.
