Summary
This study tests whether infusions of donated umbilical cord blood can safely help elderly patients (ages 60-80) with MDS or AML recover from severe bone marrow suppression caused by chemotherapy. The goal is to reduce the risk of bleeding and infection by improving blood cell counts. The study will enroll 30 participants and monitor their blood levels every two days.
