Shake or sound? new study tests therapies to help kids with CP move better

NCT ID NCT07351292

Summary

This study tested two different add-on therapies to help children with cerebral palsy move their knees more easily and improve their overall physical function. Sixty children, aged 4 to 6, received standard stretching exercises. One group also got therapeutic ultrasound before stretching, while the other group used a vibrating platform. Researchers measured how much the children's knee movement and walking ability improved after 12 weeks of treatment.
