Can a simple scan tell how much your hand hurts?
NCT ID NCT06115187
Summary
This study looked at whether different measurements from a wrist ultrasound scan are related to a patient's pain, numbness, and hand function. Researchers compared scan results with patient questionnaires and pain scores from 46 people diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome. The goal was to understand if ultrasound can better reflect a patient's actual experience of the condition.
