First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether using ultrasound after a C-section can detect significant blood loss earlier than standard blood tests. About 276 women who had a C-section will be randomly assigned to either ultrasound or usual care. The goal is to see if ultrasound can identify anemia sooner, helping doctors treat it faster and improve recovery.
