First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests if teaching anesthesiologists to use ultrasound before giving spinal anesthesia leads to better results than the usual method of feeling for the right spot. Forty doctors will be trained and then perform the procedure on patients having leg surgery. The main goal is to see if they can get the needle in the right place on the first try.
