First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at 30 adults with hip pain caused by ischiofemoral impingement, where the hip bones pinch soft tissues. Researchers compared ultrasound measurements of the hip to MRI scans to see if ultrasound could be a reliable, cheaper, and faster way to diagnose the condition. The goal was to find out if ultrasound can accurately measure the same things as MRI, which could make diagnosis easier and more accessible.
