Scientists test if precise nerve location boosts hand stimulation
NCT ID NCT07515911
First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study aims to see if placing electrodes exactly over the ulnar nerve improves how well electrical current stimulates hand muscles. Researchers will compare two methods: using ultrasound to see the nerve versus using wrist measurements as a guide. About 40 English-speaking adults without nerve damage or wrist surgery will take part. The results may help make nerve stimulation more reliable.
