Summary
This study compared two methods for placing a spinal anesthesia catheter in obese patients having leg surgery. Doctors tested whether using an ultrasound machine to guide the needle was better than using their hands to feel for the correct spot. They measured which method was more successful on the first try, faster, and had fewer complications.
