Could a popular Weight-Loss drug increase surgery risks?

Summary

This study is checking if people taking the medication tirzepatide (for diabetes or weight loss) still have a full stomach even after fasting for 8 hours. Researchers will use a simple ultrasound scan on 30 volunteers to measure stomach contents. The goal is to understand if this medication increases the risk of stomach contents getting into the lungs during anesthesia.
