First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study used ultrasound to look at the structure of nerves in the neck (the brachial plexus) in 200 healthy adults scheduled for surgery. The goal was to better understand how these nerves appear on ultrasound, which can help doctors perform nerve blocks more safely. No treatment was given; this was purely an observation study.
