New ultrasound clue could spot dangerous placenta problem
NCT ID NCT07159997
Summary
This study aims to see how accurate a specific ultrasound finding, called the 'rail sign,' is at detecting a condition called placenta accreta. Placenta accreta is a serious complication where the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall, which can cause severe bleeding during delivery. The study will enroll 90 pregnant women who have a condition called placenta previa to test if this sign can help doctors diagnose the problem earlier and more reliably.
