Can an ultrasound scan predict numbness in your hand?
NCT ID NCT07170449
Summary
This study aims to understand if measurements taken from an ultrasound scan of the wrist can tell doctors how much feeling a person with carpal tunnel syndrome has lost in their hand. Researchers will recruit 84 adults with mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. They will compare detailed ultrasound images of the wrist nerve with results from simple touch and feeling tests.
