Zapping nerves to ease Post-Surgery shoulder pain
NCT ID NCT06331871
Summary
This study tested whether adding a special nerve stimulation treatment to standard physical therapy helps people recover from shoulder surgery. 70 patients who had recent shoulder surgery were split into two groups: one received only physical therapy, and the other received physical therapy plus ultrasound-guided electrical nerve stimulation. Researchers followed both groups for 12 weeks to see which treatment better reduced pain and improved shoulder function.
