Zap your nerve pain? new ultrasound treatment trial seeks relief for chronic sufferers
NCT ID NCT07207356
Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive treatment for chronic neck and arm pain caused by pinched nerves (cervical radiculopathy). Researchers will use ultrasound to guide a gentle electrical pulse therapy through the skin to target the painful nerves. The goal is to see if this treatment reduces pain and improves function better than a fake (sham) procedure when both are combined with standard physical therapy.
