Needles guided by ultrasound target the root of headache pain
NCT ID NCT07309874
Summary
This study is testing a precise, ultrasound-guided dry needling technique to see if it can reduce headache pain and disability. Researchers will insert thin needles into a specific deep neck muscle in 50 people with frequent headaches to relieve tension. The main goals are to check if a single treatment session improves symptoms and to confirm the safety and accuracy of this new needle placement method.
