Summary
This study tested whether adding a needle guide to ultrasound-guided subclavian vein catheterization reduces the number of skin punctures. 300 adults needing a central line were randomly assigned to get the procedure with or without the guide. The goal was to see if the guide makes the process safer and more efficient.
