New ultrasound angle could improve recovery monitoring after heart surgery

NCT ID NCT07305051

Summary

This study aims to see if a new way of using an ultrasound machine to look at a major vein in the belly is as good as the standard method. The research will involve about 283 adults having heart surgery. Doctors want to know if the new view works well for patients who are overweight or have bandages, and if different medical staff can get the same results using it.
