Could simple breathing maneuvers prevent Post-Surgery lung problems?
NCT ID NCT07362680
Summary
This study is testing whether special breathing exercises guided by ultrasound can help protect the lungs of patients with sleep apnea (OSA) during and after a specific type of hysterectomy surgery. Researchers will compare lung ultrasound scores at different times to see if these exercises reduce common post-surgery lung complications like atelectasis (collapsed lung areas). The goal is to improve recovery and ease breathing problems after surgery.
