New Nerve-Zapping technique tested for stubborn shoulder pain
NCT ID NCT06852781
Summary
This study tested two different ways of using ultrasound to guide a nerve treatment for people with long-lasting shoulder pain. It involved 100 adults whose pain hadn't improved enough with standard medications and physical therapy. Researchers compared applying the treatment at two different nerve locations near the shoulder to see which approach was more effective at reducing pain.
