Summary

This study tested two types of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks to see which one better controls pain and helps lung function in people with multiple broken ribs. 50 adults with at least three rib fractures received one of the two blocks. The goal was to improve breathing and reduce the risk of complications like pneumonia by providing better pain relief.
