New injection shrinks cystic hygroma in one child

NCT ID NCT07246928

First seen Jan 09, 2026

Summary

This case report tested an ultrasound-guided injection of bleomycin into a cystic hygroma (a fluid-filled lump) in one child. The goal was to shrink the lesion. The child's lesion size reduced after the procedure. This is very early evidence and more studies are needed to see if it works for others.
