New scan aims to predict dangerous pregnancy complication before surgery
NCT ID NCT07250412
Summary
This study is testing whether a special 3D color ultrasound scan can accurately predict how deeply the placenta has grown into the uterine wall before a pregnant person has their cesarean delivery. Researchers will compare the ultrasound predictions with what surgeons actually see during the delivery operation. The goal is to help doctors better plan for safer deliveries in cases of placenta accreta spectrum.
