Can a quick ultrasound zap make you jump higher?

NCT ID NCT07507695

Summary

This study is testing whether a brief, 5-minute ultrasound treatment applied to the knee tendon can immediately improve jump height, leg strength, and knee awareness in healthy university students. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either a real ultrasound treatment or a fake (placebo) treatment, and their performance will be measured before and after. The goal is to gather evidence on whether this common physical therapy tool can provide a quick boost for athletic performance.
