Sound waves to speed jawbone recovery?
NCT ID NCT07210983
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle, painless ultrasound treatment can help bone heal better and faster after surgery to remove jaw cysts. 29 patients who have had this surgery will use a small device at home for 10 days—some will get real ultrasound waves, others a fake device. Researchers will use scans and patient surveys to see if the treatment reduces pain, improves quality of life, and helps new, strong bone fill in the cavity.
