Could a quick scan make anesthesia safer?

NCT ID NCT07383610

Summary

This study tested if a simple ultrasound scan of a patient's neck before surgery could help doctors predict who might have a difficult time placing a breathing tube. Researchers measured neck structures in 400 adults having elective surgery to see if these measurements were linked to airway problems. The goal was to find a better way to spot potential complications before they happen.
