Quick neck scan could improve dialysis safety

NCT ID NCT07438613

Summary

This study is testing if a simple, quick ultrasound scan of the neck vein can accurately measure fluid levels in people receiving long-term dialysis. Researchers want to see if this method is safe and effective for helping doctors manage fluid balance during treatment. The goal is to find a better way to monitor patients and potentially prevent complications related to having too much or too little fluid.
