Could a simple scan replace painful tests for wrist pain?
NCT ID NCT07486284
Summary
This study is testing if advanced, non-invasive ultrasound scans can accurately diagnose carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). Researchers will compare the new ultrasound methods to the current standard, which involves uncomfortable electrical nerve tests. The goal is to find a faster, less painful way to diagnose and assess the severity of this common wrist condition.
