Doctors use eye ultrasound to monitor brain pressure during fat removal surgery
NCT ID NCT06685952
Summary
This study looked at how brain pressure changes during liposuction surgery by measuring the thickness of the eye nerve sheath. Researchers used ultrasound to measure 55 patients' eye nerves while they were lying face down and face up during surgery. The goal was to understand how different positions and anesthesia affect brain pressure during this common cosmetic procedure.
