Could a simple ultrasound replace surgery for endometriosis diagnosis?
NCT ID NCT07427849
Summary
This study aims to determine if ultrasound measurements of pelvic ligaments can accurately detect superficial endometriosis. Researchers will compare ultrasound results from 64 patients with findings from their scheduled laparoscopic surgeries. The goal is to establish reliable ultrasound criteria that might help diagnose this condition without invasive procedures.
