Doctors use ultrasound to predict breathing trouble in kids after surgery

NCT ID NCT07394686

Summary

This study aims to understand why some young children have breathing problems after surgery. Researchers will use a safe, non-invasive ultrasound device to measure a part of the child's airway during the operation. They will then see if these measurements are linked to breathing complications. The goal is to gather information that could help make surgery safer for children under three years old.
