Can a simple ultrasound predict recovery after gynecologic surgery?

NCT ID NCT06953141

First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026

Summary

This study uses ultrasound to measure the amount of internal bleeding in 250 women within 24 hours after gynecologic surgery. Researchers will check if the ultrasound findings relate to how much hemoglobin drops, need for blood transfusion, pain, infection, and length of hospital stay. The goal is to see if ultrasound can help doctors make better decisions and reduce unnecessary treatments.
