Scientists serve up breakfast to unlock secrets of junk food cravings

NCT ID NCT07213245

Summary

This study aims to understand how eating ultra-processed foods affects hunger, hormone levels, and how much people eat later in the day. Researchers will serve 24 healthy adults different breakfast meals—some highly processed, some less processed—and measure their appetite, blood hormones, and lunchtime food intake. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how food processing influences our body's signals for hunger and fullness.
