Could less radiation be enough? new study tests Ultra-Low doses for lymphoma

NCT ID NCT05929612

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether a very low dose of radiation (4 Gy) can control marginal zone lymphoma, a slow-growing blood cancer. About 50 adults with early-stage disease will first receive the low dose; if the tumor shrinks enough, no further radiation is given. The goal is to reduce side effects while still managing the cancer effectively.
