First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether repairing a missing piece of skull within 6 weeks after brain surgery helps people recover better than waiting 3 to 6 months. About 582 adults who had part of their skull removed due to injury, stroke, or bleeding will take part. The goal is to see if earlier repair leads to better daily function and fewer complications.
