Double-Duty treatment tested to speed stomach healing after cancer procedure
NCT ID NCT07312370
Summary
This study is testing if adding a second medication (sucralfate suspension) to the standard acid-reducing drug (esomeprazole) helps stomach ulcers heal better after a procedure to remove early-stage stomach cancer or pre-cancer. It will involve 120 patients who have had the procedure. Researchers will compare ulcer healing, complication rates, and symptoms between the two-medicine group and the group receiving only the standard drug.
