Cord blood cells tested for radiation gut injury

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether cells from umbilical cord blood can safely help people with long-term gut damage from radiation therapy. Ten adults who have had pelvic or belly radiation will receive the treatment. The main goal is to check for side effects and see if bowel symptoms improve.
