New daily pill aims to stop painful UTIs from coming back

Summary
This study is testing whether a daily oral capsule called U101 can prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women who get them often. About 348 women with a history of multiple UTIs will take either U101 or a placebo (a pill with no medicine) daily for 24 weeks to see which group has fewer infections. Researchers will also check if the treatment is safe and if it improves participants' quality of life.
