Summary
This study aims to understand how the oral typhoid vaccine (Vivotif) affects the immune system and the community of bacteria in the gut. Researchers are observing healthy adults who are already scheduled for a routine colonoscopy, with some receiving the vaccine before or after the procedure. The goal is to learn more about the body's response by collecting blood, stool, and tissue samples.
