Summary
This study aims to understand how type 1 diabetes might affect thinking skills, mental health, and quality of life in children and young adults. Researchers will compare 264 young people with diabetes to 132 healthy peers, measuring memory, attention, and emotional well-being. The goal is to gather knowledge to help identify and support children who may be struggling, not to test a new treatment.
