Summary

This study is testing if a single dose of a medication called tranexamic acid (TXA) can reduce swelling and inflammation after ACL reconstruction surgery. Researchers will compare TXA to a placebo in 60 adults having this knee surgery to see if it helps control bleeding in the joint and improves early recovery. The main goal is to understand if TXA lowers markers of inflammation in the blood after surgery.
