Two heads better than one? study tests if extra doctor helps with breathing tube
NCT ID NCT06727513
Summary
This study aims to find out if having two doctors work together is just as good as one doctor when placing a breathing tube using a special video camera. It will involve 428 adults having planned surgery to see which method is more successful on the first try and causes fewer problems like sore throats or airway injuries. The goal is to improve safety for patients who might be hard to intubate.
