First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study compares using one doctor versus two doctors to place a breathing tube with a special video camera device (GlideScope) during planned surgeries. About 428 adults having elective procedures will be randomly assigned to either method. The goal is to see if two operators can achieve the same high success rate on the first try, which could help prevent complications in difficult cases.
