Early scan could flag danger for twin pregnancies
NCT ID NCT06935422
Summary
This study aims to see if a specific measurement taken during an ultrasound scan at 16-20 weeks of pregnancy can predict which identical twin pregnancies are at higher risk for serious complications. It will follow 55 pregnant women carrying identical twins to see if this measurement is linked to problems like unequal blood or nutrient sharing between the twins. The goal is to help doctors identify at-risk pregnancies earlier for closer monitoring and better care.
