First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a mild, painless nerve stimulation at the outer ear (tVNS) can help older adults learn finger control tasks faster. 32 healthy adults aged 65-84 will be randomly assigned to receive real stimulation or a sham (fake) version during training. The goal is to see if timing the stimulation after successful attempts improves learning speed.
